- Arbitrage
- The practice of placing bets on all possible outcomes of an event across different bookmakers to guarantee a profit regardless of the result.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to a team to level the match, expressed in whole or half goals, reducing the possibility of a draw.
- Back Betting
- Betting that a particular outcome will happen, the most common type of wager.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside for placing bets.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that lets you combine multiple markets from a single match into a single custom wager.
- Bet Slip
- The digital record that lists the selections, odds, and stake for a bet before confirmation.
- Bookmaker
- A company or individual that sets odds and accepts bets on sporting events.
- Both Teams To Score (BTTS)
- A wager that both competing teams will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature allowing you to settle a bet before the event concludes, locking in a profit or minimizing a loss.
- Correct Score
- A wager on the exact final score of a match.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that returns your stake if the match ends in a draw, otherwise paying out on the winning team.
- Free Bet
- A promotional credit that lets you place a bet without using your own money, with any winnings usually returned minus the stake.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A bet predicting both the result at half‑time and the final result of a match.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing bets on a match while it is currently taking place, with odds that update as the game progresses.
- Juice
- The commission or cut that a bookmaker takes on a bet, usually embedded in the odds.
- Lay Betting
- Betting that an outcome will not happen, essentially acting as the bookmaker by offering odds to other bettors.
- Live Odds
- The constantly changing odds offered during an ongoing match, reflecting the current state of play.
- Odds
